Stop Means Stop is a public service initiative raising awareness about the spiralling disregard for traffic laws and the lack of enforcement in South Africa. Our primary focus is on drivers who fail to stop at red lights and stop signs, though we also aim to tackle other serious contraventions which are becoming more prevalent.
To this end we offer a free platform to the public for quick & easy reporting of various violations via our 'Report an Offence' page, or simply email photographic evidence to report@stopmeansstop.co.za.
Poor enforcement normalises dangerous behaviour. Together we can document offences, identify hotspots, and advocate for safer streets. Please submit reports and if possible attach supporting media (photo/video).
All evidence will be forwarded to the relevant traffic authorities to assist in prosecuting offenders and to highlight areas which require targeted enforcement campaigns.
Note: To protect privacy rights we extract only licence plate info, location, date/time, and offence type from received photographic & video material.
